Jojoba Australia Pty Ltd is a new company made up of dedicated jojoba growers from five states of Australia. Established in 1998 to represent Australian producers to the domestic and global marketplace, sales of jojoba products domestically have increased 200% annually for the past 4 years.

The jojoba is sourced from shareholder growers plantations of carefully selected jojoba shrubs. Australian jojoba is extracted from seeds of high yielding varieties of the jojoba plant that are grown under the bright sunlight of the inland plains. Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is a true desert plant that thrives on the red soils and ripens under the hot dry conditions of the Australian Outback.
The co operative structure of our company enables us to track and monitor jojoba quality from the 'paddock' to the container.

The members of the cooperative attend regular meetings and field days to ensure that they have in place the most efficient means of plantation management and an effective system of quality control for their jojoba products.

The jojoba growers that have cooperated to form Jojoba Australia Pty Ltd are dedicated to sustainable farming and protection of the environment. Jojoba plantations remove recharge water from water tables that would otherwise threaten the land with salt damage.
